Octane Systems has over 20 years’ experience in the fuel industry, developing an end-to-end ERP platform for customers across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.
Our strength lies in building deeply integrated systems — connecting fuel meters, POS platforms, in-cab truck solutions, and third-party systems alongside modern web applications. With our ERP platform at the core, we deliver an integrated ecosystem that reduces operational complexity and risk for our clients.
Reporting to the Development Manager, you will contribute across both backend/system components and supporting web applications that extend our ERP platform.
Working alongside a team responsible for core ERP functionality, your focus will be on building and supporting the surrounding ecosystem.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on:
You will take a structured, logical approach to understanding how systems operate end-to-end, and apply this to solving real-world integration and data challenges.
About You
You’re a developer who enjoys working across systems — not just within a single layer of the stack. You’re comfortable getting into the detail of how data moves, how integrations behave, and how different components interact within a broader platform.
