LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.

• Design user-centered interfaces for the Hawk platform, focusing on wealth management workflows including product discovery, content creation, investment suitability assessment, portfolio analysis, and performance reporting.
• Conduct user research with relationship managers, portfolio managers, product specialists, and when appropriate, ultra-high-net-worth clients to understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance data density with usability, making complex financial information accessible without oversimplifying.
• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and validate design concepts.
• Plan usability testing sessions and iterate on designs based on user feedback, behavioral data, and advisor workflows.
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries that ensure consistency in design elements and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the importance of design within the organization.
• Stay current with design trends in fintech, wealth management platforms, and enterprise financial applications.

Requirements

About You

• At least 5 years of UI/UX design experience in financial services, preferably in wealth management, private banking, or investment management platforms.
• Proven ability to conduct user research with sophisticated financial professionals and high-net-worth clients, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complex data visualization design, financial dashboards, and enterprise application interfaces.
• Experience designing for complex, role-based permission systems, including multi-language and multi-currency platforms.
• Experience designing for both desktop and mobile platforms, understanding when each modality is appropriate for different tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Comfortable working in agile environments and iterating quickly based on user feedback and business priorities.
• Some understanding and knowledge of financial products, content management workflows, and advisor-client relationships.

Specific Skills

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for interface design and wireframing.
• Ability to use AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor to translate design concepts into functional prototypes for more effective technical discussions.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries for enterprise applications.
• Strong data visualization skills with knowledge of charting libraries and best practices for financial data display.
• User research methodologies including contextual inquiry, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews in professional settings.
• Knowledge of financial data types including market data, reference data, performance data, and portfolio analytics.
• Experience designing interfaces for AI-powered features and helping users understand automated recommendations.
