Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services. 

Requirements

• TS/SCI FSP Clearance
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
• Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
• Ability to perform schema updates
• Possessing significant knowledge and experience in submitting Lucene queries
• Possessing significant knowledge and experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
• Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GitHub
