Job Description

LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.

Are you passionate about digital innovation and eager to make an impact? Join our agile Online Banking Team to enhance and develop our platform. As a reliable and innovative IT partner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with development teams and product managers to ideate and implement software solutions.
  • Building highly responsive web applications with appealing visual designs using Angular.
  • Developing and managing well-functioning databases and applications within a microservices architecture.
  • Writing effective APIs and building reusable components for future use.
  • Testing software to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software to maintain high performance.
  • Writing technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will embody the following qualities and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer (approx. 80% Front End, 20% Back End).
  • Proficiency in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Jira, GitLab.
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Microservices Architectures.
  • Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL), web servers (Apache), container technology (Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker), and DevOps platforms (GitLab).
  • DevOps knowledge, primarily CI/CD pipelines configuration and deployment workflows is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail, analytical abilities, and a solution-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the Banking/Financial Industry is a plus.
  • Higher technical education in computer science or related field.
  • Practical experience in agile methodologies.
