The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team. At Deepdesk we are building ‘Augmented Intelligence’ for the enterprise. Think Gmail Smart Compose for contact centers. We use machine learning to provide agents with real time recommendations and autocomplete suggestions, supporting them in their task of efficiently assisting customers. Besides providing recommendations, we offer fully virtual assistants, that can take care of repetitive (boring) tasks.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for an imaginative engineer, someone with a deep understanding of React/Redux, who will collaborate with Product Designers and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products. You enjoy thinking about the best UX/UI for features like real time recommendations, autocomplete, tab completion, in general anything that improves the user experience or increases utilisation.

We have a start-up culture, but your code is directly used (and proven) at scale. Our technology is cutting edge, and continually evolving. You will be creating the visible face of this technology, and you will be creating new user interfaces for it.

Requirements

What this means in practice:

● Rapid prototyping and experimenting with UX/UI

● Architecting efficient and reusable front-end SDKs and widgets

● Designing and providing complete and accurate end-to-end metrics

● Writing (and reviewing) well-tested, clean and maintainable code

● Following software engineering best practices, while staying pragmatic (don't over-engineer)

Our stack

● The frontend talks with Python/Flask backend APIs running in Google Cloud Platform

● TypeScript/React with Redux for the frontend applications and widgets (HTML/CSS)

● We love beautiful code, and we love automation, so we rely on tools like ESlint, prettier and Jest to keep our code in shape.
