Job Description
Primary function includes, but is not limited to, retrieving fleet vehicles from clients, storage yards, or local offices and delivering them to various locations, ensuring services are performed. Other duties are assigned by management
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:30-4:00pm
Compensation: $20/hr
- Responsible for delivering and picking up vehicles for customers at various locations.
- Perform an Electronic Condition Report on the vehicle post-delivery and post-pickup.
- You may need to take an Uber/Lyft (paid for by ACERTUS), or a chase car when making a pick up, delivery, or service run.
- You may take a vehicle to and from a service vendor.
- Responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is legal regarding transporter plates, etc.
- Follow the Hub Partner Uniform Policy, as Drivers must look Professional when customer facing.
- Communicate timely and effectively with clients and management via company cell phone. The company phone must be on at all times when on the clock.
- Responsible for checking in and out the company phone every shift.
- Responsible for monitoring company email for communications on a daily basis.
- Present electronic and hard copies of documents pertaining to the vehicle.
- Submit required documents for processing.
- You may be responsible for minor interior/exterior clean-up (vacuum, disposal of items in vehicle, courtesy wash, installation or removal of plates, etc.)
- You may be responsible for processing registration at the local DMV.
- You may perform inventory/inspections on the lot as needed.
- You may perform PAVE inspections/exercises.
- You must be willing and able to perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
- This position requires CDL
- Must be at least 23 years of age.
- Candidates over the age of 65 are subject to an additional review process for insurance purposes.
- Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
- Clean MVR
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- No smoking, vaping, tobacco use, eating, drinking in the customer's vehicles or at the delivery/service locations at any time.
- One year of driving experience
- Must be able to operate a Smart Phone/Device (including a variety of applications)
- Must be willing and able to drive in different weather and road conditions.
- Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to approximately 150 miles from the office.
- Must be willing and able to get in and out of various vehicles (cars, vans, Sprinter-type vans, 24 -26ft. box trucks, etc.) and be able to operate vehicles assigned.
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of laws governing the operation of motor vehicles on public roads.
- Must maintain a professional appearance (clean collared shirt, clean shorts/pants, well-groomed)
- Previous experience driving larger vehicles (i.e., Vans, Sprinter-type Vans. 24 -26ft. box trucks.) preferred but not required.

- Proficient with computers, hand-held inspection devices, and GPS.
- Ability to read and write in English.

- Good defensive driving skills.
- General car knowledge to inspect for damage, fuel, possibly jump start, and safely drive.

Work Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
