Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities: Performs functions of company within the Sales department doing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

· Performs work in selected grocery stores as directed by the General Manager.

· Manages District to achieve sales, shrink, profit, goals.

· Manages District to maintain all specified POGs at every chain.

· Manages District orders, stocks, and rotates company product displays.

· Manages District to keep inventory of the stores back stock, working the items that are needed to fill the shelf into the store.

· Manages District to rotate stock so that the newest product is last product purchased.

· Manages District to write order for the store’s next delivery, based on current levels of back stock.

· Manages District to track orders according to upcoming promotions and display space given by the store.

· Manages District to be responsible for items going out of date (shrink) and is required to inform the dairy, grocery, or store Manager when he/she sees a problem with dated items.

· Must be able to physically handle working in a cooler or deep freeze environment for a good portion of the working shift.

Qualification/Profile

· Customer service oriented – demonstrates ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner with customers.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records.

· Manages District to understand each assigned stores’ unique method of back stocking and product displays.

· Must be able to push, pull, lift, and rotate. PDL (Physical Demand Limit) generally is at 30-40 lbs. with occasional PDL at 75 lbs.

· Communicates (speaks, understands, reads, and writes reports using acceptable format, sentence, and paragraph structure) in English.

· Works well in a team environment including ability to work with a diverse group of people from all aspects of the Dutch Farm business.

· Works with a minimal amount of supervision and is a productive worker.
