
One of our top clients, a fast-growing Japanese AI company developing cutting-edge Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies, is currently looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of its enterprise AI SaaS product. The company develops its own proprietary Japanese Large Language Models from scratch and provides AI-powered solutions to major enterprise customers in Japan. Its products are already used by more than 300 companies, including approximately 30% of Nikkei 225 companies, particularly across the manufacturing and R&D sectors. You will work closely with Product Marketing Managers, Engineers, Product Designers, AI Researchers, and Business Development teams to identify customer challenges and translate them into product strategy and development priorities. Each feature team typically consists of one Product Manager, 1–3 Product Designers, and 5–7 Engineers. You will have ownership across product discovery, strategy, roadmap creation, development, release, and continuous product improvement. Responsibilities Define and drive product strategy for your assigned product/feature area Identify customer challenges and define product direction Create and manage the product development roadmap Define product and functional requirements Prioritize features and improvements based on customer and market needs Work closely with Engineers and Designers to determine development priorities and schedules Conduct competitive and market research Participate in customer interviews and user testing Drive product discovery, prototyping, and technical validation Manage product development using Agile methodologies Coordinate stakeholders and development resources Analyze user feedback and product data to identify improvement opportunities Measure post-release impact and continuously improve product value Requirements Requirements 3+ years of Product Management experience for an in-house product Professional experience in a B2B business environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Business teams Ability to analyze customer and business problems and translate them into product initiatives Nice to Have Product Management experience in B2B SaaS Experience with Agile or Scrum development Experience with Generative AI, NLP, or AI-related products/projects Knowledge of UX Research or UI/UX Design Experience working with manufacturing or R&D organizations Benefits Salary Annual salary: ¥7,008,000 – ¥15,000,000 Salary will be determined based on experience and skills.
