As a Fulfilment Operations Manager at IKEA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and excellent customer experience. You will lead and develop our goods flow with a focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you are responsible for driving and continuously improving both our inbound and outbound flows, which includes ensuring the replenishment of home furnishing products and fulfilling customer orders with the shortest possible lead times and high quality at the lowest possible cost.

As part of the Fulfilment management team, you will strategically lead and develop the team and its agenda to ensure that IKEA's direction and strategies are realized. Together with respective team members, you will define, establish, and implement business strategies with a focus on both short- and long-term goals based on the organization's purpose and vision.

You have four team leaders who report directly to you. Together, you will lead the daily CFF operations and secure a fantastic goods flow and customer experience. You’ll also be responsible to lead, coach and develope you team – everything from conducting performance and development talks, succession planning and maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity, inclusion and well-being.

Who you are

We are looking for an inspiring leader who creates results through people. You have the ability to lead and develop leaders, building high-performing teams through trust, clarity, and empowerment. You are present in your leadership, able to prioritise, and comfortable navigating a fast-changing environment.

You collaborate naturally and build strong relationships across functions and with external partners, securing smooth operations, high availability, and a great customer experience through clear communication and alignment.

You bring experience from operations, fulfilment, logistics, or a similar complex environment, or you have built strong transferable leadership skills within IKEA. You understand how to drive performance and improvements across daily operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound) and implement new ways of working with a focus on simplicity and continuous development.

With a strong sense of accountability, you ensure that operations run in line with agreed ways of working – including standard operating procedures, IKEA guidelines, and local requirements within health, safety, security, and the environment. You also take an active role in driving the customer fulfilment sustainability agenda in daily operations, balancing efficiency with responsible and resource-smart ways of working.

You contribute to an inclusive and supportive work environment and lead with integrity, always developing both people and business.

You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
