Additional Information:
• This role is Permanent Part-Time (60hrs/fortnight).
• The internal job title is Fulfilment Operations Coordinator
• Our fulfilment operation runs 7 days per week, and you must be available to work a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends.
- Operating hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am - 6:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 8:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am - 6:30pm

About this work area

At IKEA, Customer Fulfilment plays a critical role in creating a seamless omnichannel shopping experience for our customers. As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator, you will support the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader in the daily running of fulfilment operations, while leading by example and ensuring operational excellence, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting the team in planning, coordinating, and performing key fulfilment activities including picking, packing, unloading, loading, and replenishment of customer orders and stock, always with the customer in focus.
• Supervising daily operations within your assigned area, ensuring routines are followed, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to optimise performance.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational standards.
• Supporting onboarding and on-the-floor training to build co-worker competence, confidence, and operational capability.
• Providing feedback, coaching, and day-to-day coordination to support team performance and successful delivery of agreed KPIs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure efficient and effective fulfilment operations.



As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator, you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoy motivating others to achieve results together.

You are:
• Experience in retail, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment, or a related operational environment.
• Experience coordinating daily operations, delegating tasks, and supporting team performance.
• A strong advocate for safety, ensuring hazards are identified, addressed, and prevented.
• Excellent communication skills, being able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth fulfilment operations.
• Highly organised and able to work in a structured way while maintaining speed and simplicity.
• Adaptable and capable of delivering results in a dynamic operational environment.
• Comfortable using technology and able to learn and utilise IKEA systems, tools, and solutions.
