Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently to support our customers' needs. You will operate as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, support order fulfilment, and contribute to a safe, organized warehouse environment. By identifying and resolving inventory and operational issues, you will help improve productivity, service levels, and overall warehouse performance. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly support customer satisfaction and the success of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments and materials.
- Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations according to established procedures.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer or internal orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transportation vehicles using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices.
- May support routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse documentation.
- Ensure products are handled, labeled, and stored in compliance with company quality standards.
- Perform general housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report damaged products, equipment issues, safety hazards, and inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet operational goals and customer service expectations.
- Assist with special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, powered pallet jacks, and other authorized equipment, in accordance with certification requirements and safety standards
- Conduct pre-use inspections of powered equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Must Haves:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfilment center
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Valid Driver’s license
- Power equipment experience or desire to be certified
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions, safety signage, labels, and forms
- Ability to accurately count inventory and complete basic documentation
- Must obtain and maintain company-required powered equipment certifications
