Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase goods from internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers according to the delivery schedule, transportation mode, price, special requirements, and terms and conditions. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities are aligned with company purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by handling urgent situations to ensure timely deliveries.
Work model is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid
Releasing purchase requisitions and initiating purchase orders in the system, aligning them with customer requirements (based on ERP and standard operation procedures) and as per the release strategy and table of authorities.
Monitoring suppliers’ order acknowledgments and dispatch advice, along with the inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation processes.
Tracking the purchase orders backlog and performing regular expending activities with internal (feeder factories) and external suppliers to ensure customer on-time delivery.
Minimizing the late backlog by proactively identifying root causes and implementing recovery plans; and tracking goods received at the warehouse to verify appropriate delivery and ensures invoice processing and high customer service level.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering or another relevant course.
Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing, inventory or supply planning function.
Proficient in MS Excel and other office applications, experience with SAP (SAP ECC and APO) is an advantage.
Effective communicator in English, skilled in both writing and speaking.
