The Supply Chain Fulfillment Planning Analyst supports fulfillment center and supply chain operations by analyzing data, developing reports, assisting with forecasting and workforce planning, and providing performance insights. The role converts operational data into actionable recommendations that improve throughput, service levels, labor utilization, cost efficiency, and overall network readiness.
Working closely with Operations, Planning, Finance, Transportation, Technology, and site leadership, the analyst identifies trends, risks, and improvement opportunities while creating reporting tools that support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, using data-driven analysis to monitor supply chain performance, optimize processes, support planning activities, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Supply Chain & Fulfillment Operations Knowledge: Understanding of fulfillment center operations, labor planning, logistics flow, productivity, throughput, service levels, and operational performance metrics.
Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends and root causes, evaluate variances, and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
Forecasting & Workforce Planning: Understanding of volume forecasting, labor modeling, capacity planning, and operational readiness concepts.
Reporting & Data Visualization: Proficiency building reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations that clearly communicate operational performance and business risks.
Technical Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, including formulas, pivot tables, variance analysis, and data manipulation; experience with PowerPoint required; exposure to tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Access, Anaplan, Business Objects, or cloud-based data tools preferred.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to work through ambiguous business questions, evaluate multiple scenarios, identify root causes, and recommend actionable solutions.
Communication & Influence: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical or analytical information in a simple, clear, and compelling way to operational and senior leadership partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to build productive partnerships across Operations, Planning, Finance, Transportation, Technology, and facility teams to drive aligned business outcomes.
Business & Financial Acumen: Ability to connect operational performance, labor planning, productivity, and cost impacts to broader business objectives.
Organization & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Ability to identify inefficiencies, automate manual processes, improve reporting accuracy, and support long-term process enhancements.
