Job Description

The Fulfillment Planner Iis responsible for working with internal and external teams on distribution of product from our distribution centers to customer. The Fulfillment Planner will own store level in-stocks, inventory turns, open to buy constraints and on-going stocking strategies. The role will actively drive balance between service and inventory through collaboration with Demand and Supply Planning teams through the use of the Blue Yonder Fulfillment application, while at the same time driving return rate efficiencies.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Perform daily and weekly planning activities to manage the sales order creation process.
  • Work with supply, operations, sales and marketing teams on inventory strategy plans.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations on promotion distribution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with customer on regular basis to meet inventory and in-stock goals.
  • Determine appropriate inventory allocation when presented with supply shortage
  • Effectively communicate goals, status changes and other information on a regular basis.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot supply/demand related issues efficiently and accurately.
  • Develop routine and ad-hoc related reports for management.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and support cost initiatives.
  • Coordinate with supply team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Run simulations on various weeks of supply, safety stock and minimum presentation logic.
  • Work on appropriate sell down parameters for product end of life in stores.
  • Maintain all required parameters in Blue Yonder software.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related discipline is required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of planning experience and working with large data sets is required.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder Fulfillment, SAP, Oracle, etc. is preferred.
  • Experience in Retail and/or CPG is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Planning and Replenishment Supply Chain Systems is preferred.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively, including knowledge of databases, SQL, and query writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; ability to work as a team or alone.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
  • Team-oriented, hardworking, open-minded, and flexible.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Ability to communicate complicated information to others.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $77,000.00
