About the Role

The Fulfillment Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end fulfillment operations, overseeing inbound and outbound workflows to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely order processing. This role manages a team of 30+ employees through two Assistant Managers (Inbound and Outbound), ensuring strong execution from receiving inventory through final customer shipment.

This position drives operational performance by developing scalable processes, improving workflow efficiency, and maintaining high standards for accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Fulfillment Manager partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality Control, Inventory, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operations and consistent service levels.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with the ability to manage volume in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, build structure within operations, and continuously improve processes to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full fulfillment lifecycle, including receiving, inventory handling, order processing, packing, and shipping.
  • Lead and develop Inbound and Outbound Assistant Managers to ensure strong team structure, accountability, and execution.
  • Manage daily operations across inbound and outbound teams, ensuring alignment with service levels and company priorities.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistency, scalability, and process improvement.
  • Monitor order flow, backlog, and volume trends to proactively manage staffing, capacity, and workflow adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate inventory movement, tracking, and documentation across all fulfillment stages.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, cross functional departments and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee shipping execution, ensuring correct carrier selection, service levels, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Analyze operational data, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, operational visibility, and safety.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training strategies to build a strong, cross-trained team.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational controls, and company policies.
  • Lead operational communication, providing clear updates, escalating risks, and aligning stakeholders on priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams and/or supervisors.
  • Experience in B2C eCommerce fulfillment operations; B2B experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record managing KPIs such as on-time shipping, order accuracy, and inventory accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables).
  • Experience collaborating with 3PLs, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Hourly base pay: $90,000 - $105,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
