Reporting to the Fulfilment Center Manager, theFulfilment Center Clerk, Returnssupports the day-to-day processing of returned furniture products. This role is hands-on and focused on accuracy, efficiency, and quality, ensuring returned items are inspected, processed, and handled according toCozey’sstandards. The Clerk works closely with warehouse teammates and cross-functional partners to support smoothreturnsoperations and a positive customer experience.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, unload, and inspect returned furniture to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Process returns through inspection, restocking, and product disposition (BIS, refurbish, donate, or dispose) following established procedures.
• Accurately document return outcomes and flag quality or product issues to theappropriate teams.
• Assistwith organizing inventory, storage optimization, andmaintainingaccuratestock records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized returns workspace at all times.
• Support order preparation when needed (picking, labeling, staging).
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operators, Logistics, and Customer Happiness teams to resolve return-related issues.
• Follow SOPs and contribute suggestions for process improvements and efficiency.
• Perform other related warehouse andfulfilmenttasks asrequired.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• 1–2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, orlogisticsenvironment.
• Ability to work physically for extended periods (standing,lifting upto 49lbs/ 22 kg, working in variable temperatures).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes consistently.
• Comfort working with inspections, quality checks, and basic documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quality control,returnsprocessing, or furniture handling is a plus.
• Experience in small teams or start-up environments is a plus.
