This is an on-site position at the Store Support Center in Irving, TX.

TheTransportation Scheduler will work cross-functionally and manage multiple carriers for allfuel relatedactivities to ensure safe and timely delivery to our 7-Eleven retail stores.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Monitor and manage daily dispatch plans with each carrier to achieve optimal store inventory targets

  • Freight rate management

  • Coordinate with the Fuels Product Scheduler to analyze and communicate optimal supplypointto the carrier

  • Assist with loading issues at the terminal and ensure resolution

  • Assist with emergency related issues caused by a driver during a delivery and ensure appropriate action for remediation

  • Work closely with Environmental Compliance to ensure environmental matters are referred to environmental personnel in a timely manner

  • Manage and communicate store fuels related activities onbystore basis (Store opening and closing, Re-Brand/Re-Model, TOS, and Re-tanks)

  • Manage and supportday to dayoperations and assist with daily delivery reconciliation withinKeyVu

  • Manage, track and communicate all fuels related maintenance issues

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE

EDUCATIONBachelors/4 Yr Degree​ and or equivalent experience

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGEANDSKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years previous Transportation, Fuel Operations or Fuel Accounting related experience preferred

  • Customer service oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Process improvement capabilities and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical skills, to include variance detection and trend analysis

  • Decision-making skills

  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability
