STAGECOACH THURSO BUS FUELLER/SHUNTER POSITION

Stagecoach North Scotland is looking for a Fueller/Shunter based at our Thurso Depot.

You will be part of a great team who all pull together daily and provide a key service to the Caithness Community.

Salary £13.85 Per hour.

First and foremost, we’re looking for someone reliable who’s got an eye for detail and takes pride in their work. We'll rely on you to keep the vehicles fuelled and looking clean and tidy. You’ll need to be team player who can also carry out tasks independently making sure that all aspects of your role are to a high standard.

Role:

• Undertake a wide range of duties to ensure the vehicles are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
• Fuel and wash our vehicles to meet service requirements.
• Top up oil, coolant and windscreen levels.
• Park the vehicles in a safe, organised manner.
• Full compliance with Stagecoach Group Health and Safety procedures.
• 40 hours per week, working 1300hrs – 2130hrs on a 5 over 7 Pattern.

Requirements:

• Fully comply with all health and safety, Engineering legislation and Company policies.
• Fully comply with all relevant Safe Systems Of Work.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
• Flexible to the requirements of the business.
• Have a positive work ethic.
• Commitment.
• Hold a full UK Driving licence.
