Fueler-Washer - HOLT Truck Leasing

Department: HOLT Truck (TRUCK)

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: HTL - Houston Hempstead

Reporting To: David Bruckman

Fuel and wash the equipment as needed. Fuel equipment and check the fluid levels.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily:

Essential Functions

• Fuel vehicles as required
• Wash and clean equipment
• Deliver outstanding customer service
• Fuel trucks as required
• Wash trucks as needed
• Ensure proper levels of fuel are maintained at all times
• Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Shuttle vehicles when necessary
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas
• Perform other tasks as directed be Service Manager or Immediate Supervisor
• Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
• Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Performs other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• General knowledge of trucking industry helpful.
• Good communication skills
• Customer service skills.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None

Physical Requirements:

• Employee is required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crawl, bend and twist.
• Employee may have to climb and/or lift up to and over 80 pounds frequently.
• Visual requirements are constant.

Work Environment:

• Duties are performed throughout the inside and outside of the building(s).
• Employee is exposed to dirt, dust, heat, cold, noise and vibration, fumes and odors, wetness and humidity and sometimes darkness.
• Due to the nature of the environment, employee is exposed to potential mechanical, chemical, electrical and fire hazards on a regular basis.
