Overall Scope
Perform all duties necessary, under the general direction of the Supervisor to successfully operate the assigned CNC lathes to manufacture Fuel Injector internal components. Safely produce parts in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.

Hours: Weekend 2nd shift
Primary work hours are between 6:00 pm – 6:00 am Friday - Sunday. Over time as needed

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with manual or Computer Numerically Controlled Horizontal Lathes
• Prefer experience with Statistical Process Control.
• Demonstrated Experience with gauging and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Set up machines to run parts as defined by the planning documents.
• Operate machines to safety produce component parts to production and quality targets.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Make machine adjustments as necessary to maintain product conformance.
• Track quality using various run charts.
• Segregate non-conforming product.
• Acquire consumables from plant stores.
• Perform changeovers to machines as necessary.
• Perform tooling changes and touch offs
• Communicate to Process or Cell Technician and Leadership as necessary.
• Escalate quality issues as necessary.
• Perform work by SOPs and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Production Coordinator
• Maintain housekeeping including mopping floor and emptying chips.
• Change machine fluids as needed
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Ergonomic Focus
• Working machine station.
• Making adjustments to switches and dials.
• Using various measuring devices.
• Lifting up to 20 lbs. frequently
• Standing/walking/sitting during a 10-hour work shift
