Fuel Delivery Associate

ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated and responsible Fuel Delivery Associate to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the efficient, timely, and safe delivery of fuel to our cooperative members, supporting our commitment to reliable service and community safety. This position offers the opportunity to work close to home with regular evening hours, while also participating in on-call rotations for emergency deliveries during nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Retrieve daily local routes and driver tickets using onboard computer systems to plan and execute deliveries efficiently.

- Deliver fuel to member tanks at residential, commercial, and agricultural sites, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

- Safely fill fuel tanks by unwinding hoses, connecting fittings, and monitoring the delivery process to prevent spills or accidents.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel inventory, and vehicle maintenance activities.

- Foster positive relationships with members by providing courteous and professional service.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours and weekend emergency fuel deliveries as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

- Proven experience operating Bobtail trucks or similar delivery vehicles preferred.

- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to fuel handling and transportation.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow route schedules.

- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in safety or fuel handling is a plus.
