Install, configure, and maintain FTTH (Fiber to the Home) infrastructure to ensure smooth and stable user connectivity.
Carry out fiber optic cable laying, splicing, testing, and equipment installation according to NE4 project standards.
Diagnose and resolve network issues, providing technical support to end-users.
Collaborate with the NE4 project team to implement construction plans and ensure timely project completion.
Communicate with users, answer questions, and offer professional guidance on network usage.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fiber network equipment.
Adhere to German safety regulations and construction standards to ensure compliance and operational safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Education:
Vocational school diploma or higher, preferably in telecommunications, computer networks, electronic information, or related fields.
Work Experience:
Prior experience in FTTH installation and maintenance is preferred.
Experience in the German or European markets is an advantage.
Candidates without experience may receive training, but must have a relevant technical background.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in fiber optic splicing, cabling, and testing.
Familiar with installing and configuring common network devices (e.g., optical modems, routers).
Basic network troubleshooting skills.
Language Requirements:
Basic German communication skills (B1 level or above) to interact effectively with users and team members.
English or Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Possession of German or EU-recognized certifications (e.g., electrician license, working-at-height certification) is preferred.
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.
Familiarity with German FTTH standards and NE4 project requirements is a plus.
