Job Description
Sun Valley Co-op is hiring for a full- time Yard Foreman to join our team at Altona Home Center location.
Job duties:
· Organizing, loading and helping arrange for deliveries
· Loading customer orders on-site
· Safe and efficient movement of product throughout the yard/warehouse
· Unloading external delivery trucks following all receiving procedures
· Safe operation of all forklifts
· General yard/equipment maintenance.
What are we looking for in a candidate:
· Valid class 5 drivers – A class 3 license would be an asset.
· All applicants must be willing to acquire a valid class 3 license within a reasonable timeframe upon hiring.
· Must be physically able to lift upwards of 100 lbs
· Comfortable working in various outdoor conditions (All Manitoba weather)
· Motivated and hardworking personality
· You are efficient and accurate in a busy environment.
· You have strong organizational abilities
· Customer Service Oriented
· Good communication skills
· Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills
