*Job Summary*

St. Raphael Catholic School is seeking a Middle School Math teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Candidates for the positions will support the mission of a Catholic Education.

The preferred applicant is passionate about teaching, is able to create intellectually engaging unit plans, use effective classroom management strategies, and provide cooperative learning opportunities and incorporate technology in classroom instruction. The candidate must be able to interpret testing data and use that data to drive instructions.

*Responsibilities*

1. Develop engaging lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum and Catholic teachings.
2. Adapt teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of students.
3. Monitor and assess student progress to ensure comprehension and growth.
4. Foster open communication with students, parents, and staff, reflecting Catholic values.
5. Cultivate an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment grounded in Catholic principles.

*Qualifications*

1. Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
2. Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Math, or necessary education and experience to acquire certification upon employment.
3. Teaching experience, possibly in a Catholic school, is preferred.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Passion for educating students and embodying Catholic values in the classroom.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening.
