Position Title: FT LPN - Overnights

Salary: $23/hr – negotiable based on experience.

Schedule: Varies, to include weekend days as well.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Oklahoma license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in Senior Living preferred.
  • Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality with all work, conversations, documents, etc.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Ability to display a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude to the public, residents, and employees at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of the work day.
  • Ability to assist in bathing and dressing of residents with disabilities.
  • Must be able to access and navigate full campus.
  • Ability to independently push a wheelchair with a resident weighing up to 200 pounds.
  • Ability to independently lift, balance, and carry up to 30 pounds.

General Summary:

The FT LPN Overnight Shift is responsible for the overall nursing care/service to residents on her/his shift. Work includes accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls/procedures as required.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Supervises/performs direct care of residents as outlined in each resident’s service/care plan.
  • Supervises the work of the Assisted Living personnel assigned to her/his shift.
  • Administers direct care to residents as needed.
  • Makes daily rounds to residents.
  • Keeps Assisted Living Director informed of the status of each resident.
  • Gives and receives accurate shift reports.
  • Records accurate and timely resident progress notes, condition change notes, and other documentation as required and/or assigned.
  • Keeps physicians and families informed of each resident’s condition as requested.
  • Assists with the development of the resident’s personal service/care plan.
  • Responds promptly to all “Call for Aid” requests.
  • Supervises medication administration (includes preparation, administration, and charting) and compliance with goal of 100% accuracy.
  • Completes all assigned tasks and items listed on shift checklist.
