Job Description

Essential Functions:


  • Assist managers in opening and closing

  • Answering phone calls

  • Seating guests

  • Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance

  • Knowledge of hotel property

  • Inform the guest about buffets

  • Attend to and anticipate guests needs

  • Familiarization with menu

  • Introduce server to guest

  • Greeting guests

  • Knowledge of daily specials

  • Assign guest checks

Tools and Equipment:


  • Computer and printer, pen/pencils, photo copying machine, file folders, filing cabinet

Working Enviornment:


  • Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel

  • Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions

  • Exposure to various hazardous chemicals

  • Exposure to food items and beverages
