Job Description

Reporting to the Project Centre Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:


1. To provide accurate estimates on projects in a timely manner.

2. To support the development of relationships and promote high-level customer satisfaction through trust, service, and integrity

3. To participate in the development of products and services to improve profit and increase customer satisfaction.

4. To be familiar with all lines of merchandise handled in the department.
5. To place and be responsible for special orders with suppliers to fill customer requirements.
6. To forward information regarding deliveries to the shipper.
7. To be responsible for accurate billing of all merchandise sold by the employee.

8. To be responsible for completing claims and invoices.

9. To enter accurate and timely information.

10. To support the Contractor Sales Rep in account management of current and future customer accounts.
11. To assist in preparing and maintaining reports as required.
12. To assist on the service counter or on the sales floor as required.

13. To perform any administrative duties as required.
14. To maintain a constant alert against the unauthorized removal of merchandise

15. To support all divisions within the Saskatoon Co-op in a friendly, positive manner.
16. To perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications
· Applicants must be strongly service-oriented and motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous
and efficient manner.
· Applicants must be well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum of
supervision.
· Applicants must be able to improve the knowledge and ability by attending and participating in assigned training
sessions.
· Applicants must possess sufficient experience in building materials and construction methods to effectively
operate in all areas of the department.
· Applicants must possess a Senior Estimating Certificate or equivalent experience.

· Applicants must be able to quote a wide range of building plans (houses, garage packages, barns, etc.).
· Applicants must possess a sufficient working knowledge of the Saskatoon and National Building Codes.
· Applicants must be proficient in computer-based sale software and programs.

· Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
