Job Description

Job Summary**

The FSTEP Trainee program at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd offers an exceptional opportunity for fresh graduates to gain comprehensive banking knowledge and hands-on experience across various business functions. This program aims to develop future banking professionals through structured learning, mentorship, and practical application.

Job Responsibilities**

• Participate actively in a structured training program covering diverse aspects of banking operations, products, and services.
• Engage in rotational assignments across different departments (e.g., Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Operations, Risk Management) to gain broad exposure and understanding.
• Support departmental teams in daily tasks, project execution, and data analysis.
• Learn and apply banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the identification of process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Complete assigned projects and presentations demonstrating acquired knowledge and skills.
• Actively participate in workshops, seminars, and networking events.
• Adhere to all bank policies, ethical standards, and compliance regulations.

Job Qualifications**

• A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong academic record, preferably with a CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of motivation, proactiveness, and a strong desire to learn and develop a career in banking.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Malaysian citizen.
