Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our team, focusing on Order to Cash (OTC) operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience in month-end closing and general ledger activities, and a solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, business teams, and external auditors to support audits, statutory reporting, and finance-related initiatives.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to strengthen controls, streamline workflows, and drive operational excellence.
- Support finance operations across multiple markets, leveraging Mandarin communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Manage daily cash application and customer account clearing activities.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and deduction issues.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable accounting standards.
- Participate in system enhancement projects, UAT testing, and business process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in OTC
- Prior experience in an auditing firm is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
