About the Role

The Global Customer Quality Systems & Compliance Manager is responsible for leading customer-focused quality systems and compliance programs globally, ensuring alignment with internal quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Acting as a key link between customers and the global quality organization, this role drives compliance, performance, and continuous improvement while strengthening customer trust and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own and maintain customer-facing quality systems and ensure alignment with the global QMS framework.
  • Harmonize customer quality requirements across regions, products, and categories.
  • Lead customer compliance programs, including audits, assessments, certifications, approvals, and corrective action management.
  • Monitor customer-specific requirements and ensure timely resolution of compliance gaps.
  • Define, track, and report customer quality KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce complaints, improve audit performance, and strengthen compliance.
  • Act as a key quality contact for customers and support the resolution of complaints, incidents, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • Establish governance and risk management processes for customer quality compliance across all regions.
  • Support crisis management activities and contribute to global customer quality strategies and initiatives.
  • Serve as a back-up to the Senior Director, Global Customer Quality as required.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality, food safety, compliance, or a related field within a global organization.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards, QMS, audit management, risk management, and incident handling.
  • Experience working with multinational customers and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; an additional European language is an advantage.
  • Occasional travel required.
