Job Description

Bring your travel expertise to a fast-paced team where your accuracy and service mindset make a direct impact. You’ll partner with experienced advisors to deliver seamless, high-touch travel support for clients.

As a Senior Travel Booking Specialist in the Travel Administrative Support team, you support independent travel advisors and their clients by managing end-to-end travel bookings, handling time-sensitive changes, and delivering an exceptional client experience through every interaction.

Job responsibilities

  • Fulfill travel booking requests, ensuring all details align with client preferences and applicable travel policies using travel management technology tools
  • Resolve complex travel-related issues quickly by assessing needs, identifying options, and selecting the best solution under tight timelines
  • Build strong client relationships by anticipating needs, communicating clearly, and consistently delivering a high-quality service experience
  • Coordinate with travel vendors to confirm arrangements meet requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at every step
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices, regulations, product definitions, and operating procedures to continuously strengthen service delivery

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 7 years of Sabre global distribution system (GDS) experience in the travel industry
  • Experience arranging domestic and international business travel, including passenger name records (PNRs), ticketing, and ticket exchanges
  • Ability to manage a high volume of incoming emails and travel requests while staying organized and working efficiently under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience managing external client/customer relationships, including anticipating needs to drive strong outcomes
  • Experience resolving travel-related issues by selecting the most appropriate solution quickly and efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break complex travel requirements into clear, manageable tasks
  • Proven attention to detail and commitment to high standards of quality and service
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Current knowledge of domestic and international airports, cities, and destinations, including hotel, airline, car, resort, and other travel vendors
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
