Job Title: Senior Frontend Software Engineer Location: Remote in the US (EST hours) Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Company: We’re working with a fast-scaling, venture-backed startup in the gaming space that’s building an entirely new kind of social online experience — combining real-time interaction, multiplayer features, and creator-driven communities into one unified platform. With a recent $15M Series A, they’re well-capitalized and moving quickly to deliver unique, player-first experiences that are reshaping how people engage with online games.This is an opportunity to join a high-caliber team at an early stage, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the frontend experience for a product used by a growing and highly engaged user base.
What You’ll Do:
  • Build and ship responsive, performant web features in a modern frontend framework (Svelte/SvelteKit preferred, React or Vue acceptable)
  • Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to bring high-fidelity designs to life
  • Review code, shape engineering standards, and promote best practices across the frontend stack
  • Design and deliver user-facing components that will scale to serve thousands of concurrent users
  • Own features end-to-end — from concept to deployment

What We’re Looking For:
  • 4+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiar with frameworks like Svelte/SvelteKit, React/Next.js, or Vue/Nuxt.js
  • Skilled in implementing Figma designs with precision and responsiveness
  • Familiar with tools like Vite, TailwindCSS, REST APIs, Git/GitHub, and testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
  • Experience in gaming, fintech, or consumer-facing platforms is a strong plus

Interview Process:
  • Round 1: 75 minute live coding session to build a simple interactive web app in Svelte/SvelteKit
  • Round 2: 45 minute call for technical conversation
  • Final Round: 30 minute call with leadership
