This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Engineer (Angular/TypeScript) based in India.
This is an opportunity to join a growing PropTech environment and help build modern digital products that simplify complex insurance experiences. You’ll take a leading role in developing responsive, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces for core web applications. The position combines hands-on Angular and TypeScript development with opportunities to influence architecture, technical standards, and frontend best practices. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, Product, and Design teams to turn requirements into intuitive user experiences. Your work will directly contribute to products solving real-world challenges for renters and property operators. This is a collaborative, agile environment suited to an experienced frontend engineer who values quality, performance, and maintainable code.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Build reusable, maintainable UI components with a strong focus on usability, performance, accessibility, and visual consistency.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs in collaboration with backend engineering teams.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, technical decisions, development standards, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, responsiveness, and reliable performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to translate product requirements and designs into intuitive user experiences.
- Participate actively in code reviews, promoting high-quality, maintainable, and consistent frontend development practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when needed.
- Contribute to an agile development process, including planning, estimation, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Help identify and resolve technical issues while proactively improving application quality and maintainability.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency with Angular, preferably Angular v15 or later, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript, including ES6+.
- Experience working with component libraries and reusable UI frameworks; Kendo UI experience is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker and Nginx is preferred.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly when working with Product, Design, and backend engineering teams.
- Experience working directly with UX/UI teams or designers is a plus.
- Previous experience in PropTech, FinTech, SaaS, or another technology-driven product environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery workflows is a plus.
