Position Frontend Engineer
Location: Makati City, Manila
As a Frontend Engineer, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Apex Invest software systems. You’ll leverage modern front-end technologies such as Vue 3, Vite, TalkJS, Less, and Cypress, while collaborating with backend services powered by NodeJS This role requires a balance of hands-on coding, adherence to best practices, and mentoring within a collaborative delivery environment.

Develop, maintain, and enhance Apex Invest software systems.
Write software solutions to address business problems.
Maintain and enforce software development standards.
Contribute to refinement sessions to promote optimal solutions.
Ensure data integrity and security within applications.
Promote best-practice software development standards across the team.
Deliver quality by contributing to the testing framework and striving to leave the codebase better than you found it.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain a service delivery mindset.
Collaborate effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Apply sound knowledge of frameworks, methodologies, and modern engineering approaches.
Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS Design Tokens.
Proficiency in Vue 3 (Composition API, state management, routing).
Experience with Vite for modern front-end builds.
Integration of TalkJS or similar messaging/chat solutions.
Styling expertise with Less and responsive layouts (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Automated testing with Cypress (E2E) and familiarity with Jest for unit testing.
Understanding of design systems (e.g., Storybook or similar).
Familiarity with iterative development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve technical issues
