At Coolbet, our Frontend Team plays a key role in building and evolving the products used by millions of customers worldwide. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will work alongside talented engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to create high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web experiences.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements. Core responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve frontend applications using modern web technologies.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Ensure software quality through automated testing and manual verification.

• Analyze technical requirements and independently solve engineering challenges.

• Investigate system issues and contribute to their resolution.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, product teams, and other stakeholders.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute ideas that improve our products and engineering practices.

• Follow established software development standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• Expand your understanding of the business domain and contribute to product improvements.

• Support and mentor less experienced team members through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.

Experience and key competencies

• Several years of professional experience developing frontend applications, or equivalent experience gained through strong personal or academic projects.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Deep understanding of React and its ecosystem:

  • rendering mechanics;

  • business logic authoring patterns;

  • local and global state management;

  • component composition patterns and data flow.

• An eye on user interface design and implementation:

  • familiarity with Figma;

  • Understanding Atomic Design Methodology;

  • ability to decompose mockups into reusable, maintainable, and consistent components;

  • ability to communicate technical limitations to designers.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• You communicate clearly, listen well, ask for help when needed, and bring people along in decisions.

• You enjoy breaking down complex problems, gathering input from others, and driving toward a solution.

Coolbet operates in a highly regulated environment. This role requires a gaming license in any jurisdiction in which the company operates, and this position may require the ability to secure and maintain a license in all relevant jurisdictions. A gaming license application utilizes personal data, a criminal and credit check, and fingerprints. Coolbet will cover all costs and provide access to an Identity Protection program.

Compensation

At Coolbet, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining your salary, including market benchmarks, specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The typical range for this role is 4500€-5500€ gross per month. This reflects total compensation.
