They enable holidaymakers and outdoor enthusiasts from more than 137 countries to book over 12,000 activities – including skiing & snowboarding, rafting & canyoning, paragliding & ballooning, diving & surfing, jet skiing, boat trips and many more.

THEIR WAY OF WORKING

They interact directly with people across the company, from the founders to marketing, business development, and customer happiness teams. Every product team member gets the chance to quickly take over responsibility and directly impact their product and the millions of people using it.

They work with React, Redux, Less, Webpack in the front-end and Microservices based on Node.js and Java Spring in the back-end.

Their architecture is built on scalable micro services and is running in the Amazon Web Services cloud.

They employ agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum with a constant focus on delivering value to the customer. They work with short release cycles (3-5 times per week) powered by their CI/CD pipeline based on Jenkins and Docker.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership and improve Frontend Code (patterns, standards, components)
  • Develop new SPAs and features for their products with full end-to-end responsibility
  • Proactively contribute to UX and design decisions
  • Write integration and unit tests to ensure high quality and well tested features
  • Work with the Frontend lead to improve the frontend architecture, standards and approaches
  • Stay on top of current technology trends to introduce new technologies that enhance their product and way of working

YOUR PROFILE

  • 4+ years of front-end development experience
  • Deep knowledge of ReactJS/ES6, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, LESS or Sass, WebPack
  • A strong skill set in React and Javascript development (Remix is a plus) with high quality standards
  • SEO knowhow particularly in the area of performance is a plus
  • Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps best practices is a plus
  • Active communicator, hands-on team player and open for feedback
  • Flexibility and high level of personal commitment
  • Fluency in English is essential as it's the working language, German is an advantage
  • A valid visa/work permit to live and work in the EU/Austria is required
