Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Frontend Developer to support a UK-based employer in building modern, responsive web interfaces. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support frontend development tasks across multiple UK-based projects
- Handle bug fixes, feature requests, and code reviews in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
- Maintain accurate records of development progress, documentation, and version control
- Use relevant tools such as React, TypeScript, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Support the wider team with technical guidance, sprint planning, and delivery
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, accessibility, and user experience
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development with React or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and version control tools like Git
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
- Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment
Salary: R45,000/month | 100% Remote
