Frontend Developer

to join our global IT Team

Scope of the position: In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of frontend systems that transform data and AI prototypes into stable and high-performance production solutions. Your responsibilities:

In this role your main tasks will include:

• Design and implement user-friendly, responsive web interfaces that work seamlessly across all devices and browsers.
• Transform frontend prototypes into production-ready web applications, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, domain experts, and backend developers to create optimal user experiences, participating in the full development lifecycle from conception to deployment and maintenance, and contributing to an agile development environment.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining frontend engineering standards for internal and external projects.
• Support team members with frontend development tasks.

Your profile

• Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Media Informatics, Media Design, (Business) Information Technology or comparable.
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional frontend development experience, preferably in industry or retail; project management/teaching experience is advantageous.
• Language skills Excellent written and spoken English skills;
• Technical Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Proven track record of building responsive, user-friendly web applications.
  • Solid experience with state management solutions, such as Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with UI component libraries and design systems (e.g., Material UI (MUI), Bootstrap, Ant Design, Chakra UI).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling.
  • Experience with cloud environments is a plus.

• Soft Skills:
  • Problem-solving: Strong abilities to figure out solutions and a keen eye for details.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in both writing and speaking to explain technical things clearly.
  • Attitude: A proactive attitude, meaning you like to take initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow your career in database administration.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both on your own and as part of a larger team.
