Frontend Developer (Angular, UI/UX Designer & Developer)

Location: Vienna (1–2 days on-site per week; otherwise remote)

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months (extension possible)

Workload: 100%

Language: English (must-have), German (nice-to-have)

Our client in the telecommunications sector is running a large-scale modernization and transformation initiative. We are looking for a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX design and implementation. You will not only develop robust Angular applications but also play a leading role in shaping intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces that meet modern design and usability standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on usability and user experience.
• Implement scalable frontend applications using Angular and its ecosystem.
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and design concepts into high-quality, functional interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration between design and implementation.
• Advocate for best practices in UI/UX and frontend development, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and performance.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and frontend technologies.

Your Profile

• Solid professional experience as a Frontend Developer with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx, etc.).
• Strong expertise in UI/UX design: usability, interaction design, and user-centered approaches.
• Proven experience bridging the gap between design and development (UI Designer + UI Developer).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience in creating responsive, accessible, and visually polished web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and design sensibility.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus.
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
