The Gigabit Business Framework is a new way of serving our customers with completely redesigned processes to provide “Gigabit Connectivity” We initiated a Digital Hub to foster new marketing and sales processes in order to win customers before rollout of the fibre infrastructure is carried out. This completely new business approach: allowing pre-sales activities, customer driven infrastructure rollout, real-time fulfillment in the case of connected homes and many more features are part of the product vision of so-called “Gigabit Business Framework (Gigabit Geschäftssystem)”. We work internationally with 49 teams on the customer journeys and release all our product increments immediately into production environment. Our agile mindset enables us to start with minimal viable products and improve them according to customers & internal feedback incrementally.
Tasks:
•Plans and participates in the Elaboration of the Architectural Runway for Solution at the ART/Domain Level with the Solution and Domain/System Architects
• Actively supports design and steering of Continuous Delivery Model & Architecture
• Establishes and supports definition of Non-functional Requirements and the Architecture Enablers to enable the Business Objectives in terms of T2M, Scalability and Business & Software Stability with the Focus on the ART-Domain Level
• Responsible of the Business and System Architecture Vision of specific OSS or BSS Domain of Gigabit (e.g. Fulfillment Domain, Operation Support & Readiness; Fibre Deployment) in alignment with Stakeholders (BO; SD; BA; PM; PO; Scrum Teams ) at the ART Level and the Solution Architects
•Fosters Built-in Quality for the Software of a specific Domain
• Contribute to the Definition, Design, Implementation, Rollout and the Governance of the Architecture Vision of F@ST and Gigabit Program
• Ensure the Alignment with Business and Technical Vision (F@ST) and the Domain Transformation Journey of Gigabit Program (e.g. Decoupling/Cloudification/Automation)
• Development of architectural concepts/structures, including the development of technical concepts taking into account holistic business requirements and implications
• Leading, Communicating and Driving actively the implementation of the Architecture Vision in Allignment with different Stackholders in the Program (Business Owners, PM/PO, the Scrum Teams, STE/RTE, End Users )
• Identifying the Solution Space of Business and /Or Technical solution Options to a clearly defined business challenges and scope.
• Defining and communicating the Architecture Roadmap of a specific domain of Gigabit for the ART
• Giving development scrum teams of the ART a clear Description of the Architecture Requirements and communicating Best Parctices on how to proceed
Desirable knowledge, skills and experience with:
• Frontend Frameworks and Libraries
Proficiency in popular frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or alternatively React, Angular Understanding their core concepts, component-based architecture, and state management is crucial.
Experience with Web Components and their integration into microfrontends.
• Microfrontend Architecture
Deep understanding of microfrontend principles, including composition, independence, and separation of concerns
Ability to design and implement microfrontend solutions that allow teams to work independently while seamlessly integrating their components into a cohesive user experience.
• Componentization and Reusability
Expertise in breaking down complex UIs into smaller, reusable components.
Knowledge of best practices for creating shared libraries, design systems (e.g telekom/scale), and UI patterns that can be leveraged across microfrontends.
Proficient in managing styles using CSS preprocessors like SASS
• API Integration and Data Fetching
Experience working with RESTful APIs or other data-fetching mechanisms.
Ability to design efficient data flows within microfrontends, considering performance and maintainability.
• Build and Deployment Pipelines
Familiarity with Webpack,or other bundlers for optimizing microfrontend builds.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and ensure consistent releases.
• Testing Strategies
Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for microfrontends (e.g. with jest)
Understanding of testing isolation and strategies for testing individual components within a larger ecosystem.
• Performance Optimization
Awareness of performance bottlenecks in microfrontends.
Techniques for optimizing bundle size, lazy loading, and caching to enhance user experience.
• Security and Authentication
Knowledge of security best practices, including CORS, content security policies, and authentication mechanisms.
Ensuring secure communication between microfrontends and backend services.
• Collaboration and Communication
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with backend teams, UX designers, and other stakeholders. Ability to lead discussions on architectural decisions related to microfrontends.
• Solid Experience in Telcos Business Processes & Fibre Access Technology
•Experience with SAFE Agile Framework
•English B2
