Front Store Manager - Full Time

MacQuarries Pharmasave - Chester
Location: Chester, NS
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

This will be an exciting position for an engaging and highly motivated individual. The candidate must have experience in retail management and a strong customer service background. We are seeking someone who believes in a lead by example approach to coach and guide all team members. The successful candidate will be an individual who is not afraid to use innovative methods for effective communication to maintain a strong team environment for MacQuarries Pharmasave.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop front store team members.
• Employee Engagement
• Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming store environment.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory management, and promotional execution.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily operational needs.
• Support a positive store culture that reflects our values of Attitude, Behaviour, and Contribution (ABC’s).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in pharmacy, grocery, or high-volume retail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and store operations.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
