Responsibilities

The Baggage Handler will be responsible for providing courteous and professional transportation of luggage and any items that need to be stored. Perform duties asked by a Bell-Captain/Supervisor.

Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following

  • Ensure courteous, prompt, and consistent luggage assistance is provided to all guests.
  • Inspects tags on baggage to ensure that baggage is routed to designated location.
  • Ensure that items are gridded correctly and handled in a professional and safe manner.
  • Must be able to drive a motorized vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Qualifications

    • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests.
    • Bilingual highly desirable.
    • One year experience as a Bell Person at a major hotel preferred.
    • High school education or equivalent preferred.
