Since December 2023, Corendon Village Hotel is proudly part of the Marriott franchise, welcoming guests from all over the world according to international Marriott standards.

Our hotel in Badhoevedorp consists of three wings: Plaza, Apartments & Urban, with a total of 680 rooms, suites, and apartments You’ll also find several restaurants, bars, a spa, swimming pool, cinema, and eleven multifunctional meeting rooms.

You’ll be working for Residence Inn by Marriott, located within the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. As part of the Front Office team, you deliver the warm, personal and thoughtful service that Residence Inn is known for worldwide.

What does the job entail?

As our Front Office Supervisor you are the face of the hotel and you provide a warm welcome and manage the Front Office Hosts. The supervisor manages the Hosts and interns. In this position you are also responsible for checking in and out of guests and provide service during the entire stay. This includes providing tourist information, handling all questions and complaints from guests, taking and passing on messages, but also activities such as operating the telephone exchange and maintaining administration. You also take care of sales activities and ensure the presentation of the working environment. You actively contribute to improvement proposals within the Front Office Team. You are also responsible for registration, invoicing and administration.

Requirements

• Who are you?

  • Flexible, even in the evenings and weekends.

  • Relevant work experience.

  • You are enthusiastic and enjoy organizing events.

  • Creative in coming up with solutions and you like to provide structure.

  • Good at processing numbers.

  • Strong communication and administrative skills.

  • Good in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Experience with opera is an advantage
