Lead the Front Office team at the Ghent Marriott Hotel

At the Ghent Marriott Hotel, hospitality is about creating memorable experiences for every guest. As Front Office Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the daily operation, support your team on the floor, and help deliver the high service standards Marriott is known for.

Your responsibilities include:


•Leading the Front Office operation during your shift and ensuring smooth daily operations.

•Coaching, motivating and supporting our Front Office Hosts while leading by example.

•Welcoming guests and assisting with check-in and check-out whenever needed.

•Acting as the first point of contact for operational questions, guest requests and complaints.

•Resolving guest concerns professionally and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

•Monitoring Marriott brand standards and ensuring service procedures are consistently followed.

•Coordinating closely with Housekeeping, Reservations and other operational departments.

•Assisting with shift handovers, task planning and daily briefings.

•Supporting the Front Office Manager with training, onboarding and developing team members.

•Taking responsibility for cash handling, room allocations and operational reporting during your shift.

In short: you're the coach, organiser, problem-solver and operational leader who ensures both guests and colleagues have an outstanding experience.

What do you bring to the table?


•A degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or a similar field, or equivalent hospitality experience.

•At least 2 to 3 years of Front Office experience, preferably within an international hotel environment.

•Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Supervisor or Senior Receptionist is a strong advantage.

•Experience working with Opera PMS is preferred.

•A strong understanding of Front Office procedures, guest relations and service recovery.

•Flexibility to work alternating morning, evening and weekend shifts.

•Fluency in Dutch and English. Additional languages such as French, German or Spanish are an asset.
