Guest Experience Supervisor / Front Office Supervisor
Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel, London

Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel is looking for a confident, guest-focused, and hands-on Front Office Supervisor to join our Front Office team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, leading by example, and creating a welcoming and professional experience for every guest. You will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of Reception, supporting the team and helping to ensure smooth arrivals, departures, and guest service throughout the shift.

What you will be doing

  • Supervising the day-to-day operation of the Front Office during your shift
  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional, and efficient check-in and check-out experience
  • Supporting the Front Office team and leading by example in service delivery
  • Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Assisting with room allocations, guest profiles, billing, and reservations
  • Ensuring guest information and operational records are updated accurately
  • Working closely with Housekeeping to monitor room status and readiness for arrivals
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless guest journey
  • Handling telephone calls, messages, and guest requests in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager with the daily running of the department
  • Helping to train, guide, and support team members on shift
  • Ensuring company procedures, service standards, and health and safety requirements are followed at all times

What we are looking for

  • Previous Front Office experience within a hotel environment
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • A strong passion for guest service and hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, professional, and approachable manner
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A team-focused approach and willingness to support colleagues across the department
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Experience using Opera Cloud is desirable and would be a strong advantage
