Located in Symonston, just a short drive from Canberra’s CBD, Canberra Holiday Village offers a convenient and welcoming accommodation option for guests visiting the ACT for work, holidays and longer stays. With a range of self-contained cabins, caravan and camping sites and long-stay accommodation, the park welcomes a diverse mix of guests throughout the year.

We are currently looking for a Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in the holiday park, hotel, hospitality or accommodation industry in a similar role.
• Experience using a reservation system such as Newbook or RMS is highly regarded; however, training will be provided to the successful applicant.
• Previous customer service experience with a friendly, professional and guest-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Cash handling and payment processing experience.
• A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent personal presentation and a friendly, approachable manner.
• A flexible attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks as required.
• Availability to work a flexible casual roster, including some weekends and public holidays as required

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award.
