As Front Office Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, ensuring our guests receive a seamless, welcoming and memorable experience throughout their stay.

You’ll play a key leadership role within the hotel, supporting and developing the Front Office team, maintaining high service and operational standards, and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Beyond the daily operation, you’ll use your commercial awareness and understanding of guest feedback to identify opportunities to improve service, drive performance and maximise revenue. Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Lead Front Office operations: Oversee the day-to-day Front Office operation, including guest services, check-in and check-out, room inventory and compliance with hotel policies and Hilton brand standards.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences: Ensure every guest receives warm, personalised and efficient service, while proactively responding to feedback and resolving concerns.
  • Lead and develop the team: Coach, mentor and support Front Office team members, manage performance and create a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Drive service excellence: Monitor guest satisfaction and operational performance, identify trends and implement improvements to continually enhance the guest experience.
  • Support commercial performance: Identify opportunities to maximise room revenue through upselling, effective room inventory management and promotion of hotel services and facilities.
  • Create memorable VIP experiences: Oversee VIP arrivals, special requests and guest preferences to ensure a seamless and personalised experience from arrival through to departure.
  • Collaborate across the hotel: Build strong relationships with other departments and hotel leaders to ensure effective communication and smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain operational standards: Ensure Front Office procedures, systems, brand standards and service expectations are consistently followed.
  • Manage operational challenges: Remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment, making timely decisions and effectively managing guest or operational issues as they arise

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Have a minimum of 12 months of full Australian Working rights (sponsorship is not offered)
  • Physically based in the Perth Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate
  • Previous experience in a Front Office leadership or management role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with guests, team members and senior leaders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of Front Office performance, revenue opportunities and cost management.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using hotel property management systems and other Front Office technology.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays, as required.
