Keahótel is looking for a strong and progressive leader for the position of Front Office Manager at Reykjavík Lights.

We seek to hire a positive and enthusiastic individual to join us, who possesses rich service-oriented skills and dedication to exceed our guest's expectations.

Reykjavik Lights is located at Suðurlandsbraut 12 in Reykjavík and is part of the Keahotels hotel chain. The hotel has 105 rooms, beautiful bar and a breakfast room.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Supervising the hotels reception and staff in cooperation with the hotel manager
• Service and quality control
• Overseeing the bookings, communication with travel agencies and guests
• Planning guests arrivals
• Shift staffing and employee training

Skills and qualification requirements

• Hotel experience is essential
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to succeed, a positive attitude and a strong customer service focus
• Initiative, accuracy and independence in work
• Good Icelandic and English skills
• Good general computer skills
