Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-versed, experienced, mature, driven individual to manage and lead all operational activities of the Front Office. Including but not limited to Front Desk, Night Audit, Valet, Bell, Concierge, PBX and seasonal Ice Rink. This person will embody a driven, diverse nature while holding the team accountable, have the highest standards of customer service while meeting andor exceeding profit levels. This person will have a team of 50+ persons to manage from hiring, training, evaluates, counsels, and administers progressive disciplinary procedures for the whole front office staff. Interacts positively with all guests and homeowners of the 165 key location. Resolves and takes action with any satisfactory needs for the resort.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the final authority in dealing with all individual guest issues as they occur and try to resolve the issues to a satisfactory outcome for the guest/Resort and updates guest history accordingly.
  • Monitor room inventory on a daily basis to maximize revenue, prevent overbooking and ensure proper room availability and reservations.
  • On a daily basis ensure that all arrivals are set up correctley, by checking room types, group billing, individual FIT rates and special requests.
  • Ensures smooth operations at the Front Desk by supporting and leading the Guest Service Assistants
  • Assists the Front Desk Supervisor and Assistant Front Office Manager in ensuring employees at the Front Desk are performing their daily tasks according to the Arrabelle Standards.
  • Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor and ethics in dealing both with guests, co-workers and subordinates.
  • Facilitates/ schedules departmental meetings, management trainee meetings, and hotel management meetings as required.
  • Manages the schedule creation, approval and demand of all front office staffing levels; including but not limited to coverage in all facets of the department.
  • Manages payroll and approvals for the department.
  • Schedule consists of the demand of an operational need and coverage viability.
  • Place purchase orders for tools and supplies needed.
  • Proactively reviewing payroll to ensure no overtime unless approved and hours are entered correctly with TIPS reported.
  • Performance of all special projects as requested by the Director of Rooms and General Manager
  • Organize scheduling of the Front Desk and Night Audit by posting work shifts every second week.
  • Authorize payroll on a weekly basis conducted with Assistant Front Office Manager.
  • Reviews current day's expected arrivals and checks all VIP and special request reservations to ensure that they are pre-registered
  • Ensuring good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel, and proper emergency and safety procedures are followed.
  • Assist the accounting department in resolving billing issues on guest folios.
  • Develops strong working relationships with other department managers and directors to ensure communication and teamwork is at an optimum.
  • Following, understanding and implementing Standard Operating Procedures as guided by the Director of Rooms.
  • Manages with winter season and Ice Rink hours of operations, staffing and pay.
  • Oversees all Front Office Operations including, Night Audit, Bell, Valet, Front Desk, PBX, Concierge and Ice Rink.
  • Keep apprised of all Medallia scores, responding within 24 hours and working closely with other departments to get all items addressed.
  • Empowers associates to provide excellent customer service.
  • Emphasizes guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
  • Ensures associates understand expectations and parameters.
  • Solicits associate feedback, utilizes an "open door" policy, and reviews associate satisfaction results to identify and address associate problems or concerns
  • Performs any additional tasks or projects as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
  • Word, Excel, Outlook, Coupa, PeopleSoftHR, Workday
  • Valid CO driver's license; Possesses a valid driver's license for type of vehicle driven.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in Front Office for high volume property.
  • Previous Management experience at a Hotel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English to guests, vendors and employees.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

The expected pay range is $59,330.00 - $84,757.00 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
