Join the Arbor Day Foundation as a Front Office Coordinator (Part-Time 12 pm to 5 pm). As the first point of contact at the Arbor Day Foundation’s Lincoln office, you play a key role in shaping how employees, partners, and visitors experience our organization. In this role, you’ll ensure the front office runs smoothly creating a professional, safe, and welcoming environment that supports the important work happening across our teams to deliver trees and impact communities nationwide.
Your Support System:
- You’ll report to the Facilities Manager
- You’ll collaborate with People & Experience Team.
How we work:
- Location: Fully on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska
- Schedule: Part-Time Monday – Friday 12 pm to 5 pm
- FLSA Status: Non-exempt
- Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs
What you’ll do:
- Create the first impression of the Foundation experience, greeting visitors, answering calls, and creating a warm, professional first impression
- Manage front desk operations including visitor check-in, security badges, and key distribution
- Partner with the Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, compliant, and well-functioning office; support awareness and execution of building safety protocols (emergency procedures, visitor security, incident reporting)
- Coordinate meetings, room bookings, and schedules to optimize space and team efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and meeting space environment
- Support internal teams with administrative tasks and special projects (data entry, coordination, research, Canva designs)
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries with timely communication to recipients
- Serve as a liaison between visitors (vendors, candidates, partners) and internal staff
- Assist with coordination of office events, meetings, and team gatherings
- Oversee Healthy Food Market operations including ordering, stocking, and receiving deliveries

- Skilled at working both independently and collaboratively to support team success
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools and Project Management platforms including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, and Monday.com
